We Use Vertical Slats to Give Large Interior Walls More Depth
Our vertical slatted WPC wall panels are made for office reception areas, museum galleries, meeting rooms and other commercial interiors.
The repeated vertical lines give a plain wall more shape while keeping a warm timber-look finish. We can change the profile, color and surface to match the interior design.
We Plan the Slat Lines Before We Cut the First Panel
From our project work, the biggest visual problem is often not the WPC panel itself. It is where the vertical lines start and stop.
Start Line
We set the first vertical line from a clear wall edge, column or design center line.
Panel Width
We check the total wall width before installation so the last panel does not become a very narrow strip.
Ceiling Line
We also check the ceiling, floor and lighting lines so the finished wall looks balanced.
Most Site Problems Happen Around Openings and Corners
We plan the slats around the door before installation
We check whether the vertical pattern should continue across the door area or stop at the frame. This avoids random narrow pieces beside the opening.
We decide where the visible edge will finish
Inside and outside corners need a clean ending. We review the profile direction and trim before the installer starts the main wall.
We mark electrical points early
Switches, sockets, screens and wall signs should be placed before the final panel layout. Cutting them after installation can damage the repeated pattern.
We check shadows from the slatted surface
Side lighting can make the vertical ribs look deeper. We suggest checking one sample area with the real room lighting before large installation.
A long slatted wall shows small alignment mistakes very easily. We prefer to finish one sample section first, check the vertical line and joint position, and then repeat the same method across the room.
A Straight Base Makes Installation Much Easier
We first check whether the wall is flat enough for the selected installation method. If the base is uneven, a suitable subframe can create a new straight fixing surface.
- Mark the main vertical reference line first.
- Check the wall level before fixing panels.
- Keep the first panel straight before continuing.
- Plan joints around corners and openings.
- Keep access to electrical points and service areas.
- Protect finished panels from other site work.
We Match the Finish to the Whole Interior, Not One Small Sample
Color & Wood Grain
We prefer approval from a real sample. Screen colors can look different under office, gallery or hotel lighting.
Production Batch
For one large visible wall, we prefer to plan the main material in the same production order when practical.
Surface Finish
Sanding, brushing and embossed finishes give different visual effects. We match the finish to the project design and cleaning needs.
Replacement
For large commercial interiors, keeping a small number of matching spare panels can make later local repairs easier.
Send Us the Interior Elevation Before We Plan the Panel Layout
Send us the wall width, height, doors, corners, sockets, screens and preferred wood color. An interior elevation or simple marked drawing helps us plan the panel direction and cutting before production.
