1. Customization of material textures:

 

  Republican-era old fir style:

Replicating the light yellow base color of old fir after decades of wind and rain erosion, with natural knots, subtle cracks, and weathered marks of varying depths interspersed in the texture. 

 

  Northern elm retro style:

With a deep brown tone, it simulates the rough annual rings of elm wood and "worm-eaten holes" (artificially replicated natural hole decorations). 

 

  Southeast Asian rubber wood style:

Warm brown textures with dark stripes, replicating the tropical timber texture of old Southeast Asian home-stays. 

 

2. Restoration of craftsmanship details:

Adopting the "multi-layer pressing + hand-wiping" process, the surface retains the original touch of wood, neither as smooth and cold as modern boards nor as rough with burrs as untreated old wood, but with a warm feel polished by time. When fingertips touch it, one can feel the warmth of the retro era.

Aiming at the environments of home-stays, often located in rural areas or scenic spots (where humidity, pest infestations, and ventilation discrepancies may occur, our products incorporate hidden modern protective technologies:

 

1. All-round moisture and pest resistance:
The base material is infused with nano-moisture-proof agents and insect repellents, boasting a water absorption rate of ≤0.3% (compared to 18%-25% for traditional old wood ceilings).

Our WPC timber ceiling undergoes a 96-hour boiling test without swelling or mildew, solving issues like water seepage and mold growth in rainy seasons, and dry cracking in northern heated rooms. Additionally, it achieves a 99% repellency rate against termites, eliminating the need for regular insecticide spraying as required for traditional old wood.

 

2. Deformation-resistant structure:
Adopting a "cross-laminated" process, it achieves a flexural strength of 12MPa, preventing warping or bulging caused by dry-wet changes in traditional solid wood, and maintaining flatness over the long term.

 

3. Paint-free and maintenance-free:
The surface is coated with a 0.1mm-thick transparent protective glaze, which neither obscures the vintage texture nor resists erosion from oil fumes (in B&B kitchen areas) and dust. Daily cleaning only requires wiping with a dry or slightly damp cloth, eliminating the need for annual repainting and maintenance like traditional wooden ceilings, thus reducing maintenance costs in B&B operations.
